A Wednesday night crash on Lone Oak Road injured two people.
The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. as a southbound vehicle driven by 58-year-old Rex Clayton of Mayfield reportedly hydroplaned. Clayton told McCracken County Sheriff's deputies that his vehicle hydroplaned, and crossed the median. It then went airborne before coming to rest off of the northbound side of the road.
Clayton and his passenger, 32-year-old Jeremiah Sayles of Pippa Passes, were both taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
